a mysterious letter / et mystisk brev

I received a mysterious letter. It contained only a series of haiku about a "lady of waters". Could it be the one who offered king Arthur the sword Excalibur, a loved one who drowned or a mysterious being made from water? I don't know. The paper seemed quite old as did the handwriting but even that could be faked. It is signed: Giovanni Monte - a name that means nothing to me ... Nevertheless I will work on translating the haiku into Danish and present them here on the blog. Here's the first haiku:

lady of waters
would you mirror
a violin?

vandenes frue
ville du spejle
en violin?

    I know this guy!
    He's from a mountainless country!
